| Oh, yay, I think this year I might be able to post here. My Italian teacher last year was horrible, but this year the teacher's great. (The guy last year taught us "When is your birthday?" is "Qual'e' il tuo compleanno?" which means "Which is your birthday?" Haha.)
I could help with learning Italian. I find the most useful thing to learn is verbs. XD
I'll start with some normal -are verbs and conjugations. Mangiare will be my first, since everyone knows it. XD Mangiare-to eat io(I) mangio tu(you) mangi lei/lui(she/he) mangia noi(we) mangiamo voi(you) mangiate loro(they) mangiono Tu and voi are both "you". In English plural of "you" is "you", but it's different in Italian. It would be translated as things like "You all", "You and [random name]", etc. To conjugate verbs what you do is take off the end, -are in this case, and conjugate it to fit the noun. ex: Io Mangiare, +o = mangio
Io -o tu -i lei/lui -a noi -iamo voi -ate loro -ano
Now, here's the reason I'm not a teacher. I don't start at simple "ciao"s or "Come stai?"s, I start with verb conjugations. Not only that, but I only teach one. =D XD Oh well, if anyone would like me to continue teaching, I'll be happy to. Right now I'm not even sure if I have students; I might just be teaching to thin air.
